WHAT TO EXPECT

Therapy Sessions: What To Expect

Our licensed therapists are here to support you on your journey of exploration, processing, healing, and personal growth, in-person or virtually. We empower you every step of the way, helping you take control of your path toward improved well-being.

Who We SeeWe welcome everyone, irrespective of background, sexuality, religion, or lifestyle—helping children, teenagers, and adults.

Step 01Before you arriveIntake paperwork arrives by email after booking. Filling it in ahead of time means the first session is spent talking, not writing.

Step 02Your first 55 minutesYour therapist asks what brought you in, what you have already tried, and what you want to be different. Nothing is required of you.

Step 03Setting the directionTogether you agree on goals and the approach that fits them, whether that is EMDR, CBT, DBT, play therapy or a blend.

Step 04Ongoing sessionsMost clients meet weekly at first, then less often as things settle. You and your therapist review progress as you go.
